drop off

so today was the day of the big drop off. this is when they blindfold us. drive us around and then drop us off. we have an hour to make our way back to our starting point which for me was a house.

i was nervous. even had a dream about it.

so, how did i do?

i did really well. within a minute of being dropped off, i figured out where i was and i went for it. yay. 2 long blocks, 3 street crossings in 15 minutes. on the very last block i had to check out my landmark a couple of times, but i kept on going and got to my target.

2 of my group mates took a full hour. and they got lost. the other groupmate, nailed his drop off and got back without a problem.

it started snowing during kate's drop off. she was sooo cold. karen took us all out to tim horton's and bought us a soup meal deal. she was very generous.

so today was a good day.
